The lychee stink bug (Tessaratoma papillosa) is a major pest of lychee and longan trees. Identifiable by its yellow-brown body and waxy white abdomen, it weakens branches and reduces fruit yield by feeding on sap. Signs of Infestation, Egg Clusters: Small, round pellets on leaves or trunks. Bugs: Yellow-brown insects with a waxy abdomen. Damage: Wilting leaves, weak branches, and lower fruit production. Control Methods, Monitor: Inspect trees regularly. Remove: Destroy egg clusters manually. Encourage Predators: Birds and parasitic wasps. Use Insecticides: Apply cautiously following guidelines. Early detection and integrated pest management are essential to protect orchards and sustain fruit production
