The search for the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 has resumed once again

The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 in 2014 remains one of the greatest aviation mysteries. Despite extensive search efforts over the years, the wreckage and the 239 people on board have not been located. Recently, Malaysia’s Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, announced that the search for the missing flight has resumed, led by the Texas-based marine robotics firm, Ocean Infinity. This firm conducted a search in 2018 and is now returning with the hope that technological advancements will aid in locating the aircraft. The search will focus on a new area of 15,000 square kilometers in the southern Indian Ocean, guided by updated data and analysis. Ocean Infinity operates on a “no find, no fee” basis, with a $70 million reward for discovering the wreckage. The search duration is still under negotiation
