Senator’s sharp reply after Elon Musk demands to know what she ‘got done last week’

Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), is pushing for a $2 trillion spending cut. He recently ordered federal employees to submit a five-point email detailing their weekly accomplishments by February 24, warning that failure to respond would be seen as a resignation, However, agencies like the DOJ and DOD advised staff not to comply due to confidentiality concerns. Senator Tina Smith criticized Musk’s approach, calling it a “bad boss move,” to which Musk responded, “What did you get done last week?” Smith fired back, saying she fights against billionaire tax breaks. Senator Patty Murray also condemned Musk’ actions, but he defended the request as a “basic pulse check.” Some employees reportedly responded before the deadline
