Sandy Posey, the 1960s pop and country singer known for hits like “Born a Woman,” has died at 80. She passed away at her home in Tennessee from complications related to dementia, according to her husband, Wade Cummins, also known as Elvis Wade, an Elvis impersonator. Born Sandra Lou Posey on June 18, 1944, in Jasper, Alabama, she was influenced early by gospel and Southern country music.
