Jordan Demands Probe Into Pelosi, Wants To Know Her Role At Capitol

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan has called for an investigation into former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the previous Democrat-led January 6 Committee. Speaking with CNN’s Manu Raju, Jordan dismissed the original investigation as a political attack on Donald Trump, saying Democrats were avoiding key national issues like inflation, crime, and the border. Georgia Rep. Barry Loudermilk revealed that Speaker Mike Johnson plans to formalize a new committee to continue examining the Capitol attack, with Johnson expected to have more control over its structure. Loudermilk criticized the previous committee’s focus on Trump, arguing the events of January 6 stemmed from broader security failures. Meanwhile, Republicans are reviving other politically charged investigations, including those into President Biden’s handling of classified documents and the Hunter Biden case. President Biden’s recent pardons for select individuals involved in the January 6 probe, including Liz Cheney and Anthony Fauci, sparked controversy. Legal experts noted that while pardoned, they could still be compelled to testify and face consequences for lying under oath
