Beyond canes and service dogs, Austrian-based Tech-Innovation offers a high-tech solution: *InnoMake*, shoes with built-in sensors that detect obstacles and alert users via vibration or sound.

These sensors work within a range of 0.5 to 4 meters and fit into a designated shoe slot. Powered by a rechargeable battery lasting up to a week, they fully charge in three hours. Users can customize settings through a free app, adjusting alert distances. The sensors are water-resistant and feature an intelligent mode that deactivates when seated and reactivates upon movement. Several Austrian stores allow users to try the shoes before purchasing
