This morning I noticed small round balls on my bed sheet. At first, I didn’t know what they were, but I soon realized they looked like insect eggs.
After some research and asking friends, I found out they were stink bug eggs. I was shocked, especially since I keep my home clean.
I guessed my dog might have brought them in from a walk. Concerned, I visited a doctor to check my health—thankfully, everything was fine.
I’m relieved I caught it early. Now I inspect everything and clean regularly to prevent it from happening again. It taught me to stay calm and take even small signs seriously.
Later, in my yard, I saw what looked like a rope on the grass. I feared it was a snake and approached cautiously. To my surprise, it was a line of about 150 caterpillars moving in a straight formation. I’d never seen anything like it. Some say they move together to avoid predators, find food more easily, or conserve energy by following a cleared path. I still wonder where they came from and where they were going.
