Energy savings are also debated—using an air fryer multiple times for small batches may consume more energy than a conventional oven, especially for larger meals or batch cooking.
Despite this, many love air fryers for reheating, small portions, and quick meals. Use an air fryer for crispy, fast cooking for one or two people, but stick to the oven or stovetop for large meals, wet batters, baking, or batch cooking.
