Carl Dean, businessman and longtime husband of country legend Dolly Parton, has passed away at 82 in Nashville, Tennessee. Parton, 79, released an emotional statement, saying, “Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.” Married since May 1966, the couple renewed their vows nine years ago. Despite Parton’s fame, Dean preferred to stay out of the spotlight, supporting her from behind the scenes while running his road-paving business.
