According to recent news reports, actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” tragically passed away at the age of 54. He died on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from accidental drowning while on vacation with his family in Costa Rica.
Costa Rican authorities confirmed that Warner was swimming near Cocles, a beach in Limón province, when he was caught by a strong current and swept offshore. Bystanders were able to rescue him and bring him to shore, but unfortunately, he was unresponsive.
