And We Had No Idea

During the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, observers were intrigued by the appearance of President Donald Trump’s hands, sparking speculation about his health.

At 79, Trump left the summit early amid the worsening Israeli-Iranian conflict, raising further concerns.

Photos showed discoloration and puffiness on his hands, with some suggesting he used makeup to cover it.

Social media users pointed out swelling, especially in his right hand. A White House official previously claimed the marks were from frequent handshakes during campaigning.

Others speculated the bruises were from IV treatments, dehydration, or a vitamin deficiency. Dr. Jeff Foster noted the recurring bruises could be from a cannula, as aging skin bruises more easily. Dr. Ross Perry agreed, explaining that aging, tanning, and possible medications like blood thinners or steroids can make the skin more fragile and prone to bruising. He added that even a minor bump or strong handshake could cause visible bruising in someone of Trump’s age.
