New Polls Show Rising Approval Ratings

Posted on June 18, 2025 By Admin

A new series of national surveys shows a rise in public approval for a current officeholder, with ratings now comparable to a well-known former leader early in their term.

Three polling organizations report gains in both approval and favorability, signaling growing support for both the leader and their policies.

One survey shows a 48% approval rating and a 51% favorability score—down slightly from a previous peak but still trending upward.

Experts say this could improve further if economic concerns lessen. Interestingly, policies appear more popular than the leader personally, with approval for specific measures—like those on immigration, trade, and the economy—reaching nearly 70% when asked without naming the leader.

A recent poll of 1,000 voters also revealed a 4-point boost in approval following trade policy changes, along with surging support among young voters, independents, and Black voters. Though some critics question the survey methods, the overall trend across studies suggests rising public acceptance and potential to expand support beyond party lines.
