1. Stye (Hordeolum) Cause: Bacterial infection in an eyelash follicle or oil gland. Symptoms: Painful red bump on the eyelid edge, swelling, tenderness. Treatment: Warm compresses 3–4 times a day, keep the area clean, don’t squeeze it. 2. Chalazion Cause: Blocked oil (meibomian) gland. Symptoms: Painless lump, deeper than a stye, grows slowly. Treatment: Warm compresses; if it persists, a doctor may need to drain it. 3. Milia Cause: Trapped dead skin cells under the skin. Symptoms: Small white or yellowish bumps around the eyelid (not painful). Treatment: Usually disappear on their own; a dermatologist can remove them if needed. 4. Allergic Reaction or Irritation Cause: Makeup, creams, dust, pollen, etc. Symptoms: Red, itchy bumps or swelling around the eyes. Treatment: Stop using irritants, try antihistamines, or consult a doctor
