Will Breaux turned his dream into reality by building a unique home from 11 shipping containers on McGowen Street in Houston. The three-story, 2,500-square-foot residence features a rooftop deck. After struggling to find a designer who could meet his vision, Breaux took matters into his own hands, designing the house himself around 2011. Drawn to containers for their strength, durability, and hurricane resistance, he taught himself container construction and created a 3D sketch of his dream home.
