Teenage footballer Luca Manolache, 19, tragically passed away from an unexplained illness after struggling with severe health issues. A former player for Romanian team Metaloglobus București, he retired in August 2024 due to symptoms including dizziness, fatigue, and bloody stools. On February 28, Luca fell ill while out with a relative. As his condition worsened, he called his mother, saying, “Mum, Mum, I can’t do it anymore,” before asking, “Do you think I’m dying?” An autopsy revealed he drowned in his own stomach acid after vomiting blood.
